Add the influxdata Key (if not already done)
- sudo curl -sL https://repos.influxdata.com/influxdb.key | sudo apt-key add -
Add the influxdata repository (if not already done)
- source /etc/lsb-release
- echo "deb https://repos.influxdata.com/${DISTRIB_ID,,} ${DISTRIB_CODENAME} stable" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/influxdb.list
Now update the repository and install the 'telegraf' ackage using the apt command below
- sudo apt update
- sudo apt install telegraf -y
Enable and start
- sudo systemctl start telegraf
- sudo systemctl enable telegraf
Check
- sudo systemctl status telegraf
