Was ist eine Linux Distribution?
- Linux wurde von anfang an komplett als Source Code zur Verfügung gestellt.
- Die bestand aus dem Linux Kernel und weiteren Tools zum Installieren und Betreiben des Betriebssystems.
- Man hatte ein Huhn Ei Problem.
- Man wollte sich mit Linux beschäftigen.
- Es wurden aber schon Kenntnisse zum Compilieren von Linux vorrausgesetzt.
Distributionen
- Es gab Firmen und auch Communitys die hier Abhilfe geschaffen haben.
- Sie kompilierten den Kernel und die Programme und pakten sie Pakete.
- Das ganze wurde mit einer Installationsroutine versehen.
- So war es für Anfänger leichter Linux zu installieren.
