Telegraf install

Add the influxdata Key(if not already done)

• sudo curl -sL https://repos.influxdata.com/influxdb.key | sudo apt-key add -

Add the influxdata repository(if not already done)

• source /etc/lsb-release
• echo "deb https://repos.influxdata.com/${DISTRIB_ID,,} ${DISTRIB_CODENAME} stable" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/influxdb.list

Now update the repository and install the 'telegraf' ackage using the apt command below

• sudo apt update
• sudo apt install telegraf -y

Enable and start

• sudo systemctl start telegraf
• sudo systemctl enable telegraf

Check

• sudo systemctl status telegraf
