Konfiguration von Dovecot mit SASL für Postfix auf Port 993

Voraussetzungen

• Installiere die benötigten Pakete:

sudo apt-get install dovecot-core dovecot-imapd

Dovecot-Konfiguration

• Öffne die Datei /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf und füge hinzu:

mail_location = mbox:~/mbox:INBOX=/var/mail/%u
ssl = yes
ssl_cert = </etc/ssl/certs/star.lab34.linuggs.de.crt
ssl_key = </etc/ssl/private/star.lab34.linuggs.de.key

Master-Konfiguration

• Öffne die Datei /etc/dovecot/conf.d/10-master.conf und füge hinzu:

service auth {
  unix_listener /var/spool/postfix/private/auth {
    mode = 0666
    user = postfix
    group = postfix
  }
}

Auth-Mechanismen

• Öffne die Datei /etc/dovecot/conf.d/10-auth.conf und stelle sicher, dass folgende Zeile vorhanden ist:

auth_mechanisms = plain login

Dienste neu starten

• Starte Dovecot neu:

sudo systemctl restart dovecot

Testen

• Teste die Verbindung auf Port 993 mit einem E-Mail-Client.
